SUMMARY: The Minerals Management Service (MMS), hereby
gives notice that it is extending the public comment period on a further supplementary
proposed rule, which was published in the Federal Register on July 16, 1998, (63 FR 38355).
The proposal amends the royalty valuation regulations for crude
oil produced from Federal leases.
