Summary:
The Minerals Management Service (MMS), is
proposing amendments to regulations governing the valuation for
royalty purposes of natural gas produced from Federal leases.
These changes would add several alternative valuation methods to
the existing regulations. The proposed rules represent the
consensus decisions reached by MMS' Federal Gas Valuation
Negotiated Rulemaking Committee (Committee).
